Maryland man accused of threatening a parking enforcement officer with a gun over ticket

WASHINGTON (7News) — A ticket caused a man to threaten a parking enforcement officer with a gun before he was arrested, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The officer with the Department of Public Works was working in the 700 block of 8th Street, Southeast D.C., on March 10.

David Joshua Willoughby, 36, of Capitol Heights, got a parking ticket and became upset, according to police. Willoughby approached the officer and tried to start a fight, investigators said…
