PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway after several suspected pipe bombs were found in Fort Washington Park on Sunday, according to the U.S. Park Police (USPP).
Police said officers received reports shortly after 2 p.m. of two suspicious packages with items resembling pipe bombs in a wooded area of Fort Washington Park.

The Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department responded to the scene to investigate the two devices in the packages, and three additional devices were found after a sweep of the area.
