BRYANS ROAD, Md. — A Nanjemoy man is facing dozens of animal cruelty charges after authorities say six pit bull puppies were found living in severe neglect conditions behind a Charles County business.
Labrons Edward Butler, 50, of Nanjemoy, was arrested following an investigation by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office and animal control officers related to an incident reported on March 10, 2026.
According to charging documents, officers responded to the area behind a Food Lion in the 2900 block of Marshall Hall Road in Bryans Road after receiving a report of puppies being kept in a small crate without access to food or water…
