WASHINGTON (7News) — A growing number of residents and business owners in D.C.’s Navy Yard say they are fed up with repeated “teen takeovers” that have brought robberies, assaults and even shots fired into the neighborhood.
Another large gathering of teens happened over the weekend. It was not as chaotic or unruly as in past incidents, but a heavy law enforcement presence moved in as extended youth curfew hours were set to begin. Dozens of officers from local and federal agencies were seen in the area.
