Three people arrested after police dismantle large drug trafficking organization in Virginia

VIRGINIA — A large-scale drug trafficking organization operating through vape shops in Northern Virginia has been dismantled following a multi-agency investigation, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Detectives with the department’s Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau executed search warrants March 18 at 20 locations across Fairfax County and Prince William County. The operation targeted a regional organization accused of distributing illegal narcotics through vape stores.

Authorities said search warrants were carried out at 13 vape shops, two storage units, a warehouse, a vehicle and multiple residences.
