New details have surfaced surrounding the March 29th, 2026 incident in Silver Spring, MD, involving former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert and William Yates, father of Turnstile vocalist Brendan Yates. According to the police report, 33-year-old Ebert arrived at William’s home in his car, honking and yelling obscenities at William’s daughter, her husband, and their children.
Surveillance footage obtained by police from a neighbor shows Ebert behaving aggressively from his vehicle toward the family. William reportedly came down the driveway to intervene, prompting Ebert to swerve toward him. William stepped back to avoid being struck, then threw a rock at Ebert’s Buick LeSabre, hitting the rear door. In response, Ebert reversed and accelerated toward William, striking him. The report notes the dangerous proximity to William’s daughter and her 3-year-old son.
