Man hurt after shooting in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was hurt after a shooting in Washington, D.C. on Monday morning, police said.

Juvenile violence continues to plague DC

The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Franklin Street, Northeast. Officers responded and found a man who appeared conscious and breathing with gunshot wounds.

Emergency crews such as DC Fire and EMS also responded, taking the victim to a hospital for treatment.
