ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Seven fox kits were rescued after they fell into a window well and could not get out.
On Monday, the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) said its Animal Services team received a call about the fox kits and how they got trapped in the window well of a home, “proving that when one sibling makes a questionable life choice … the rest will absolutely follow.”
AWLA’s Chief of Animal Services, Tony Rankin, responded to the service call, hopped down into the window well, and lifted all seven fox kits to freedom.
