ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Police in Alexandria have shut down King Street after a person was struck by a vehicle overnight.
The details that led up to the crash are limited; however, the Alexandria Police Department said the 2200-2300 block of King Street was closed around 2:30 a.m. on April 23.

The vehicle involved in the crash did not stay at the scene, and the pedestrian’s condition is currently unknown.
