DC police searching for man accused of twerking before attacking women in Navy Yard

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are searching for a man accused of attacking two women after twerking in front of them in Navy Yard earlier this month.

According to a police report obtained by DC News Now, the incident took place in the 1200 block of 1st Street Southeast at around 6:20 p.m. on April 19. The investigation began when officers were flagged down for a “large fight” in front of the TD Bank.

At the scene, police interviewed four women, one of whom was a witness. The first person told investigators that a man they did not know had approached her and “randomly started twerking” in front of her…
