Teen injured in Blake High School fight, shooting now facing charges: Police

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police have charged a Blake High School student in connection with a fight that led to a shooting in the school’s parking lot on Wednesday.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said that the same 17-year-old student who was shot during the fight is now facing a slew of charges.

The teen, who is from Silver Spring, was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, possession of a dangerous weapon on school property, carrying a loaded handgun, and felony use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime.
