WASHINGTON (7News) — For the first time, the public is seeing Metropolitan Police Department leadership’s own words describing in writing the damage caused by the department’s crime reporting scandal.
The 7News I-Team and Investigative Reporter Scott Taylor have obtained “Notice of Adverse Action” letters sent to ranking MPD officers placed on administrative leave following a sweeping Internal Affairs investigation into alleged manipulation of crime data.
