Lehigh Valley weather: Strong thunderstorms possible Saturday night as cold front approaches

A cold front moving through the region Saturday night into early Sunday morning will bring the first significant chance for precipitation in over a week, with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected.

While daytime Saturday will remain mainly dry and warm, the nighttime passage of storms could produce damaging wind gusts in stronger cells, particularly across areas north and west of the Interstate 95 corridor.
