One Dead, Two Injured After Triple Shooting at Allentown Intersection, Homicide Probe Underway

Allentown, PA — A late-night shooting left one person dead and two others wounded at a busy Allentown intersection Saturday night, prompting a multi-agency homicide investigation as authorities work to identify those responsible.

Allentown Police responded at approximately 10:01 p.m. Saturday to the intersection of North Jay Street and East North Street, where officers found three victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. All three were rushed to area hospitals, but one victim later died from their injuries, according to the Allentown Police Department.

Investigation Expands After Fatal Outcome

The shooting quickly escalated from a violent crime scene to a homicide investigation after one of the victims succumbed to their injuries.
