Man burns veteran grave markers, flags at Bucks County cemetery, police say

Police are searching for a man accused of burning veteran grave markers and flags at a cemetery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

On Tuesday, June 2, around 11 p.m., a Bristol Township police officer responded to the cemetery near Emilie United Methodist Church along the 7300 block of New Falls Road in Levittown for a report of a man burning items on graves.

When the officer arrived, he spotted a small fire under a tree in the back of the cemetery and several burning items, including flags and veteran grave markers. Firefighters responded to the cemetery and extinguished the fire…
