Man charged in Route 222 crash that killed Berks fire chiefs due in court

The man accused of hitting and killing a Berks County fire chief and assistant chief on Route 222 is due in court Tuesday.

Alexander Sepulveda-Rivera is accused of driving under the influence when he swerved, hitting a UTV with Walnuttown Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Chief Robert Shick inside.

Police say Sepulveda-Rivera then tried to run away…
