1st phase of Easton Area High School construction starts. Athletic fields, site upgrades on tap.

Easton Area School District is beginning the first phase of construction for its new high school, with initial work focused on site preparation and infrastructure upgrades ahead of construction of the new building.

During a recent school board meeting, Director of Operations Ken Case provided an update on the first phase of construction. The district plans to replace the existing Easton Area High School with a new 250,444-square-foot building and new parking lots. The campus will maintain its two existing access points from South 25th Street and William Penn Highway.

First-phase site construction is expected to be completed by May 2027, followed by construction of the new high school, which is projected to finish in August 2030.
