KUNKLETOWN, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A program in Monroe County is helping veterans navigate the journey from service to civilian life. Valor Clinic Foundation’s Veterans Unstoppable Program works to provide a haven for veterans struggling to acclimate after being in the service.
The program features peer-to-peer sessions every week at Paul’s House in Kunkletown. They are accepting new members, and they welcome first responders, too.

Program facilitators say it’s an incredibly rewarding program for all involved.
“We’ve helped them save their marriage, we’ve helped them save themselves from getting in trouble at work, and to us, that’s the gratifying part, but the biggest thing is if we can provide an outlet that prevents one more suicide, then we’re doing our job,” Valor Clinic Foundation Retreat Coordinator Michael Phillips explained…
