An Allentown man convicted of a 2022 fatal shooting was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Steven Rosa, 32, was sentenced after a jury convicted him in May of first-degree murder and carrying a firearm without a license in the killing of 33-year-old Tywon Deleva Abner.
In a separate case that was tried alongside the homicide, Rosa was also convicted of witness intimidation and criminal use of a communication facility. According to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, those charges stemmed from Rosa’s efforts to persuade a witness not to testify while he was incarcerated in Lehigh County Jail.
