Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man captured on surveillance video after a bicycle was stolen from a residential garage in Bethlehem Township.
BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The Bethlehem Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a burglary suspect who allegedly entered a resident’s garage during the middle of the afternoon and stole a bicycle.
According to police, the suspect was captured on a home security camera before leaving the property on the stolen bicycle. Investigators later recovered the bicycle discarded near the intersection of Ross Road and Sapphire Lane.
Stolen Bicycle Later Recovered
Police said the bicycle was abandoned some distance from the burglary scene after it was taken from the resident’s garage.
Investigators have released a security camera image of the suspect in hopes that someone will recognize him and provide information leading to his identification.
