PENNSYLVANIA — Tuesday, September 1st brought numerous confirmed severe weather reports across northern and eastern Pennsylvania, with storm clusters producing damaging wind reports and large hail throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Several supercells were warned for large hail, damaging winds, and briefly displayed tornado-warned circulations as they tracked across the state. Local storm reports compiled from the Storm Prediction Center show three distinct clusters of activity spanning from the northwest corner of the state through the northeast and down into the Philadelphia region.
