Bucks County hit-and-run driver hid his role in the crash, police say

A man was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Warrington and, police claim, the driver believed responsible returned to the scene but didn’t call 9-1-1 and hid his role in the crash when questioned by officers.

According to police, the incident unfolded at about 9:01 a.m. on Aug. 31, 2026, when officers responded after a man was found lying in a roadway and “screaming in pain,” on the 600 block of Addison Way in Warrington.

At the time, first responders believed the injuries were the result of a fall and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital where, officials said, he was admitted after suffering head trauma…
