Hilltown Township is moving closer to installing a temporary traffic light at Minsi Trail and Route 113, a crossing that officials have flagged as one of the area’s most hazardous.
Township Manager Deanna Ferry, per the Bucks County Herald, confirmed that PennDOT has completed its review of the township’s application and returned initial comments, which the township’s traffic engineer is now addressing. Because the state holds jurisdiction over the intersection, PennDOT’s sign-off is required before any temporary signal can go in.
