EASTON, Pa., (September 9, 2026) –The Center for Animal Health & Welfare (CAHW) will be holding a Grand Reopening at its new subsidiary, Homestead Kennels & Cattery (Homestead), on September 12 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will include kennel and cattery tours, adoptable dogs from the center, dog training demonstrations, vendors, food and more.
Located at 575 Jacobsburg Rd. in Nazareth, Pa., Homestead provides boarding and grooming services for cats and dogs and has been serving clients in Nazareth and beyond for more than 40 years. CAHW purchased Homestead in February 2026.
CAHW, established in 1913, also operates an adoption facility and community vet clinic in Williams Township. The addition of Homestead allows the organization to offer more resources for adopters and pet owners while helping it sustain and grow programs that help animals find and stay in their forever homes…
