BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Jeff Perlman remembers looking out from his 56th-floor office in the South Tower of the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001, and seeing something he had never seen before.
“Seeing brick, metal and fire falling down,” Perlman recalled. “Normally, I can look down and see small planes. This is different. Nothing comes down.”
