A mass casualty incident was declared after a serious crash left one person heavily entrapped and sent four others to hospitals on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Sunday morning, Sept. 20, authorities said.
Emergency crews were dispatched shortly after 8 a.m. to Interstate 476 North, also known as the Northeast Extension, near Steinburg Road for a crash requiring an auto extraction, according to officials.
