EMMAUS, Pa. — A Lehigh Valley nonprofit that helps families facing cancer and other serious illnesses pay for child care will hold a pink-out cornhole tournament Oct. 10 at Yergey Brewing in Emmaus, timed to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Money raised at “Bagging for Breasts,” organized by Zionsville-based Ribbons of C.A.R.E., will support the group’s child care assistance grants. The grants help parents pay for child care while they attend cancer treatments, surgeries and medical appointments, according to the event’s registration page.
