A Lehigh Valley brewery making its first entry in a national contest brought home the gold, as the lone medalist representing Pennsylvania.
Bethlehem-based Wishful Thinking Brewing Co. took first place at the Great American Beer Festival for its On Any Given Day, a Brett beer — meaning it’s fermented or conditioned with a wild yeast called Brettanomyces.
