Burglars watched until homeowner left, then stole $65K+ worth of valuables in Lehigh County, cops say

A pair of burglars watched a North Whitehall home until the homeowner left, then ransacked it and made off with over $65,000 worth of goods, state police said. Pennsylvania State Police in Bethlehem said the incident happened at 8:20 p.m. Jan. 7 along Balliet Street. The burglars pried open a closed window with a screwdriver to gain access, police said.
