A new mini-series is shedding light on American Bomber Pilots in World War II, and much of the show is based on the interviews and research of a man from Easton. “Masters of the Air” tells the story of the pilots of America’s 8th Air Force Hundredth Bomber group, which suffered tremendous losses fighting the Germans, especially in the three months leading up to D-Day in 1944.
