NORRISTOWN – A Pottstown man will serve a stint behind bars for assaulting and attempting to disarm a police officer during a disturbance in the borough. Richard Hudson, 37, of the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 1½ to 4 years in a state correctional facility after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer in connection with an Aug. 11, 2023, incident near his residence.
