Honeygrow Restaurant Will Take Over Old Starbucks in Doylestown’s Barn Plaza

DOYLESTOWN, PA—The new restaurant coming into Barn Plaza will go into the storefront formerly occupied by Starbucks.

The owner of Barn Plaza, Brixmor, has released an updated site plan of the shopping center showing that Honeygrow will go on the north end of the existing shopping center. Media reports have said that the new location could be open by the spring or the summer.

Honeygrow is a quick-service restaurant known for its salads, stir-frys and honeybars. It was started in Philadelphia and has nearby locations in Willow Grove and Quakertown.

When the restaurant chain announced it had signed a lease with the shopping center last month, it was unclear which unit it was going to occupy. The location was something of a mystery because Barn Plaza is poised to undergo major changes.

A Whole Foods and Barnes & Noble will go where Marshalls and HomeGoods used to be located. Those two stores moved north on Route 611 to Cross Keys Place.

Brixmor has proposed tearing down the old movie theater, including the silos that sit off of Route 611, and the Applebee’s. In their place, Brixmor has proposed building six restaurants, four retail stores and a medical office. Several of the restaurants will have a drive-through.
