A Bath woman accused of failing to feed her 2-month-old baby was sentenced Wednesday to eight to 20 months in Northampton County Prison. The baby was under the care of 27-year-old Kayla Marie Toribio when it was fading in and out of consciousness on Dec. 8, 2021, according to police. The child was taken to a hospital, where a child welfare worker reported the infant was “clearly severely nutritionally neglected and had life threatening decompensation.”
