CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Firefighters were sent to a porch fire in Philipsburg Wednesday after officials said it was intentionally set twice.
Members of the Philipsburg Fire Department were dispatched to the 300 block of N 5th St. in Philipsburg Borough for a porch that was set on fire. When crews arrived, they did not see a fire.
During an investigation, officials said a man who was thought to be suffering from a mental health episode was found to have attempted to set the fire. The man returned and made another attempt to light the porch on fire.
