1 in 5 Bethlehem renters pay more than 50% of income on housing, official says

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bethlehem Planning Commission received an update on the city’s housing plan Thursday night at city hall. The proposal, called “Opening Doors: Strategies to Build Housing Stability in Bethlehem,” was completed by the city last November and is projected by city officials to be implemented over the next five years.
