Local Group Seeks Veterans for Tour of Honor Trip in April

DOYLESTOWN, PA—A local group is calling on older veterans to enroll in the Bucks County Tour of Duty program to get an all-expenses-paid trip to visit Washington, D.C.

This year’s tour is open to veterans who served in World War II and the Korean War. World War II veterans and those who are terminally ill will get top priority for the tour.

The tour, which will take place on April 15, will visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery for the changing of the guard and wreath-laying ceremony, the Air Force Memorial, the Korean War Memorial and the World War II Memorial.

The trip will be followed by a welcome home celebration, dinner and entertainment hosted by Parx Casino.

Space is limited, so veterans are encouraged to apply to secure a spot.

To register, call 215-962-8071 or go to the Bucks County Tour of Honor website.
