PHILLIPSBURG, NJ – The Town of Phillipsburg has declared a Snow Emergency beginning at 8:00 PM tonight, Monday, February 12, 2024.

In a statement received from the town Chief of Police, the following information was provided with a thorough list of locations, links to county transportation and state transit services.
In a release from the Chief of Police, the notice says, “As of 8:00pm, on Monday, February 12, 2024, the Town of Phillipsburg will be under a Snow Emergency. The Snow Emergency will continue until further notice. As a reminder to residents, after any snow emergency is declared, it is unlawful, at any time during the continuance of the emergency, for any person to park or leave unattended a motor vehicle or to allow that vehicle to remain parked or unattended anywhere on any snow emergency routes. During this time, parking is permitted in town lots at no charge.”
