Man accused in triple slaying in PA makes initial court appearance on related NJ charges

The Trenton man accused of fatally shooting three of his relatives earlier this month in Bucks County, Pennsylvania faced a New Jersey judge on Wednesday.

Andre Gordon appeared before a Mercer County judge to discuss his detention at the county jail, as well as his future extradition to Pennsylvania.

Gordon could be seen virtually from the Mercer County Jail. The 26-year-old sat quietly in an orange jumper and never spoke during the brief hearing before Superior Court Judge Robert Bingham.

Gordon had a chance to challenge his detention in jail and request bail, but he declined through his attorney.

“Mr. Gordon is going to consent to detention. I do believe after spending a considerable amount of time with Mr. Gordon over the last two weeks, I believe this is a knowing and voluntary consent that he is giving,” said attorney Nicole Carlo.
