A look at contested races in Tuesday’s Pennsylvania primary in Bucks County

Tuesday’s primary in Pennsylvania will give voters across the state a chance to vote for the Republican and Democratic nominees for President, Congress and a number of other statewide and local races.

In addition to the national races and state row offices on the ballot this year, Republican voters will be selecting committee members across the county while both the GOP and Democrats will vote on delegates for their respective national conventions.

A complete list of 2024 candidates and copies of sample ballots are available at the county’s Board of Elections website at www.buckscounty.gov.

Polls open across Bucks County from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 23.

Who’s running for President?

In the presidential race, President Joe Biden is running against Congressman Dean Phillips from Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District for the Democrats. Former President Donald Trump is running against former South Carolina Governor and United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley.
