1 hurt in Bethlehem shooting near elementary school, cops say

One man was hurt in a shooting Thursday evening near Governor Wolf Elementary School in Bethlehem, city police said. Bethlehem Police Capt. Nicholas Lechman said shots rang out shortly before 9:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Butztown Road. Investigators found a man with a gunshot wound, immediately rendered first aid, and he was taken to an area hospital for treatment, Lechman said.
