Over a year after the original announcement, a Bucks County Italian market will soon expand into the Lehigh Valley.
Mercatino Italiano , located at the Trainer’s Corner shopping center at 220 N. West End Blvd. in Richland Township, will open at the Five 10 Flats building at 528 E. Third St. in Bethlehem early next year, owner Kristin Randazzo said.
“I hope to bring a sense of family to Bethlehem with cooked meals and offerings that feel like home to a new community,” she said.
The Bethlehem location will offer the same items as in Richland Township, according to Randazzo, alongside artisan pizza and everyday grocery essentials “for the convenience of the locals and those who live in our building and within walking distance to our store!”
The original location offers meats, cheeses, pastries, cookies, sandwiches, olive oils, pastas, sauces and catering services, according to the website .
The Bethlehem location, which is currently under construction, will operate 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
