EFFORT, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A local HVAC company in the Poconos is offering to install a heating system for one family in need at no cost.
Jeff’s HVAC will be providing one family in need of a heating system this winter. The applications are now open are can be found at Jeff’s HVAC Heating Up Hope .
This time of year Mother Nature is drawing in customers to heating companies like Jeff’s HVAC in Effort.
“People are turning on the heat now, it is getting busy. Our service techs are usually running 50 hours plus a week right now,” said Jeff Fisher, owner/president, of Jeff’s HVAC.
Fischer says all types of calls are made during this hectic season.
“It’s not top of mind. It’s in a basement, in a crawlspace, in an attic, and, ‘Let’s turn it on, it’s a little chilly in here.’ Then turn it on, and guess what? We’re still chilly.” said Fischer.
