Central Bucks board destroyed evidence by deleting messages: Sunshine Act lawsuit alleges

The lawyer for the plaintiffs in a Sunshine Act lawsuit against Central Bucks School District filed a motion this month requesting a judge to rule in their favor.

The brief in the motion for summary judgment filed Tuesday alleged that school board members violated the Sunshine Act on multiple occasions. The plaintiffs have accused officials of adding important items to a meeting agenda less than 24 hours beforehand and holding a meeting to discuss board communication policies without publicly announcing it.

The plaintiffs’ lawyer, Chadwick Schnee, also argued that Central Bucks should be sanctioned because board members allegedly deleted records relevant to the case after their then-lawyer, David Conn, was sent notice to retain records pending litigation…
