A New Jersey flower shop owner and her husband have been identified as the two people shot and killed in a Monroe County home following a 9-1-1 call early this week, Pennsylvania State Police told Daily Voice on Wednesday, March 19.
Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Stroudsburg responded to a 911 call from a female who was crying, with a man yelling in the background At approximately 10:18 p.m., on Monday night, March 17, Pennsylvania State Police said in a release. During the call, multiple gunshots were heard, prompting an immediate police response to the residence at 1118 Heritage Blvd., in Hamilton Township.
Arriving officers discovered 35-year-old Cheryl Okie with apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
