Tiger Woods shows true colors with involvement in multi-million-dollar project

82-time PGA Tour winner Tiger Woods is helping to revive Cobbs Creek Golf Course in West Philadelphia , by building a new TGR Learning Lab.

Woods, who has recently been sidelined with a major Achilles injury after making his return to golf , is helping relaunch the Philadelphia golf course that’s been neglected in recent years. Cobbs Creek opened in 1916, and was one of the only courses in the region at the time to allow players from all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds.

The legendary golfer set up the TGR Foundation in 1996, with the mission to empower students to pursue their passions through education. Woods wanted to give back to Cobbs Creek, which has been relaunched since being taken over in recent years…
