The ShopRite of Laurel Hill in Clementon, New Jersey, has recalled all of its ground beef, pork and meatloaf mix produced and sold in-store on Thursday, March 20.
The grocery store at 1224 Blackwood-Clementon Rd., issued the recall because there may be small plastic fragments within the meat due to an issue with the grinder.
The following store-made packages of ground meat with a sell-by date of March 20 are included in the recall:
- 80 and 85 percent lean ground beef in family and small packs
- 80 and 85 percent Angus ground beef in family and small packs
- ground beef and pork
- ground pork and meatloaf mix
According to ShopRite of Laurel Hill, “No other products sold at ShopRite are affected by the recall, and no injuries related to the recall have been reported.“ Also, the recall only applies to store-made ground meat sold at ShopRite’s Laurel Hill location…
