ALBURTIS, Pa. — A 125-year-old building and tavern in Lehigh County now sits condemned.
The borough of Alburtis has deemed the Alburtis Tavern on South Main Street “unfit for human occupancy.”
According to a sign on the door, the borough condemned the building yesterday over a lack of heat and electricity.
A week ago today, the restaurant announced on Facebook that it was closed for repairs.
The building, which includes 23 apartments and short-term rentals, is also listed for sale, with an asking price of more than $4.7 million…
