A Pennsylvania woman who initiated a police report about finding a noose at her job now faces charges after DNA results from a weeks-long probe sparked allegations that she put the item on her own desk.
LaTarsha Brown − who works on the third floor at City Hall in Allentown − notified the department about her discovery on Jan. 10, per a news release from the local police. The incident prompted demonstrations outside of the building.
