John Sweeney Dies In PA Turnpike Motorcycle Crash

Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio identified the biker as John Joseph Sweeney, 50, of Bristol, PA. Sweeney had gone out with a group of five other riders when he was struck by a wrong-way driver, a 24-year-old woman from Perth Amboy, NJ, according to Buglio and Pennsylvania State Police.

The crash happened around 10:10 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-476 at mile marker 67.1 in Washington Township, PSP said.

Following an autopsy, Buglio ruled the cause of death accidental due to blunt force injuries…
