LEHIGHTON, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A wanted man was arrested at a gas station and found with various amounts of drugs inside his car, police stated.
On March 27, around 4:00 p.m., the Lehighton Police Department assisted the attorney general’s office in arresting a wanted man. Officers say 41-year-old Kyle Kubin, of Lehighton, had an active warrant for aggravated assault with a weapon, out of Franklin Township.

Investigators said Kubin’s vehicle was driving into a Sunoco Gas station on Blakeslee Boulevard, and multiple police agencies converged on the location and arrested him.
During the arrest, Kubin was found with $730 in cash, a digital scale, and various amounts of narcotics, including:
- 321 grams of methamphetamine
- 41.5 grams of cocaine
- 32.8 grams of heroin
